Afrikaner Dr Rufus Nortje,continued saving the lives of a day-old Ndebele baby and her mom in a rural KwaMashu hospital on February 7 2005 - although a gun was pointed into his back. They are a God fearing, pastoral people who have been victimized by a cruel and evil regime. Even babies are targeted! No-one can deny the barbaric treatment some of these people receive. South Africa is in a WAR ZONE!
The genocide taking place in South Africa is as real as the nose on your face. Just because you don't see it or hear of it does not mean there is no crisis happening there. Remember, now that you know, you can never say to God that you never knew.
What evil is this that can mutilate a man like this!

How is one to live a moral and compassionate existence when one is fully aware of the blood, the horror inherent in life, when one finds darkness not only in one's culture but within oneself? If there is a stage at which an individual life becomes truly adult, it must be when one grasps the irony in its unfolding and accepts responsibility for a life lived in the midst of such paradox.
