Radio show demonises Afrikaners in "grossly evil" radio contest list...
Aug 15 2004 - In what is rapidly turning into a surreptitious Afrikaner demonisation campaign on several South African radio stations, the "competition to find South Africa's Ungreatest Person" is beginning to read like an Afrikaner hate-list.
Entries are apparently "pouring in from all quarters" according to IOL.
Some names: Gert van Rooyen and Joey Haarhof, who both went to their graves carrying the secret of what happened to the young girls they kidnapped. Strangely absent: names of the many African men who have already been convicted for raping babies or carrying out "muti" murders...
Others also submitted: the tragically-murdered South African prime minister Hendrik Verwoerd, whose blood stains remained embedded in the carpet of SA parliament in Cape Town for years!!! The carpet was only recently replaced by the ANC-regime.
One Asian listener, Radha Reddy from Phoenix, nominated the African singer Mbongeni Ngema. "While everyone is trying to bring reconciliation to this country, he came out with a song that promoted hate for the Indian community, " he said.

Perhaps Roger Jardine, CEO of Kagiso Media; Haroon Lachporia, managing director Kagiso Enterprises; and Eric Molobi, executive chairman of the Kagiso Group, (telephone South Africa) should be reminded that hate-speech radio broadcasts which demonised the Tutsi minority in Burundi had also greatly contributed to the genocide of some one-million Tutsis -- and that the owners/journalists of the radio station, which had spread the hate-speech were found guilty of crimes against humanity by the International Criminal Court in Tanzania only recently.
Kagiso Trust should be reminded of their responsibility towards Afrikaners in this regard and scrap this hate-speech programme altogether before it gets out of hand completely.
